The Maintenance of Silent Check Valves
The slient check valve belongs to the category of automatic valves. Its function is to prevent the medium in the pipeline from flowing backwards. It is mainly used on pipelines where the medium flows on one way, allowing the medium to flow in only one direction to prevent accidents.

The maintenance of slient check valves are as follows:
- When storing the transporting media, the opening and closing parts should be in the closed position. At the same time, the following tasks should be carried out:
① The disc of slient check valve should be fixed in the open position.
② The inner openings at both ends of the diameter should be blocked with foam boards, and the ports must be tightly plugged with blind covers to prevent dust and rust, and keep the passage clean and the end faces flat.
③ Provide appropriate packaging protection, shock resistance, and collision prevention for the cylinder part. - When slient check valve is placed, it should be stable, with the pneumatic driving device facing upward, and there should be no mutual squeezing.
- Regular inspections should be carried out during long-term storage. Check the dirt and rust on the two channels and sealing surfaces, as well as the protection status of the welded joints every three months. After wiping off the dirt and rust, reapply anti-rust oil for protection.
- In order to prevent the medium from flowing backwards, check valves should be installed on equipment, devices, and pipelines.
- The noise reduction check valve is generally suitable for clean media and is not suitable for media containing solid particles and those with high viscosity.
- Generally, a vertical noise reduction check valve should be selected for horizontal pipelines with a nominal diameter of 50mm.
- The noise reduction check valve should be stored in a dry and ventilated room to prevent moisture, rain, and rust.
