Knife Gate Valve
The knife gate valve, also known as knife-type gate valve，the slurry valve, and mud valve, is a common type of valve. Due to its simple structure, good sealing performance, and low flow resistance, the knife gate valve is widely applied in pipeline systems for conveying various media.
The knife gate valve is a high-pressure valve that can be quickly shut off, therefor it is also called a quick shut-off valve. The knife gate valve is usually used to quickly cut off the fluid in the pipeline, such as gas, liquid, etc., in emergency situations.
