Main features of 3 inch gate valves.
- The wedge of WayValve 3 inch gate valve is fully guided to the seats. For this purpose, our inch gate valve is equipped with an integral cast gate, which is wedged at a certain angle to the vertical center line, and its function is to close more and more tightly during the closing process. The gate is cast as a whole, machined and automatically surfacing, and has a ring groove on the surface for a better fit on the seat surface;
- The seat ring is forged and designed to reduce wear during switching and to prevent wear of the valve body and seal rings during flow;
- After welding and required heat treatment, the seat ring shall be thoroughly cleaned by the CNC machine and inspected by inspectors before assembly is allowed.
