Pneumatic Gate Valve

Pneumatic Gate Valve
The pneumatic gate valve uses compressed air to drive the piston in the cylinder, and then drive the valve stem to realize the opening and closing of the valve.
- When the compressed air enters from the upper pipeline of the cylinder, it pushes the piston to move downward, driving the valve stem to move downward, thus opening the valve.
- When the compressed air enters from the lower pipeline of the cylinder, the air pushes the piston to move upward, driving the valve stem to move upward, thus closing the valve.
- In case of absence of the air source, manual operation can be carried out through the screw rod and the open-close nut to open or close the valve.
When the pneumatic gate valve is closed, the sealing surface can be sealed only by the medium pressure, that is, the sealing surface of the plate is pressed against the valve seat on the other side by the medium pressure to ensure the sealing of the sealing surface. This is self-sealing. Most gate valves adopt forced sealing. That is, when the valve is closed, external force is required to press the plate against the valve seat to ensure the sealing performance.
Pneumatic Wedge Gate Valves
- Smooth flow path, low resistance coefficient of flow, erosion and corrosion on sealing surfaces are less likely to occur;
- Unlimited flow direction, no pressure drop, simple structure, a wide range of applications;
- The connections between the valve body and bonnet are available in many forms, such as bolted, threaded, and welded connections.
- Self-tightening sealing structure to perfectly adapt to various working statuses;
- Compact and simple structure, small space required for installation, quick opening/closing function, easy to maintain;
