Pneumatic Full Bore 3 Way Sanitary Ball Valve

A 3 way ball valve is a shut-off device used for fully opening and fully closing. This device comes in T-type and L-type. The T-type 3 way ball valve can connect three orthogonal pipelines to each other and cut off the third passage, playing the role of diverting and combining the flow. The L-type 3 way ball valve can only connect two orthogonal pipelines and cannot keep the third pipeline interconnected simultaneously, only serving the function of distribution.
The sanitary 3 way sanitary pneumatic ball valve is a kind of pneumatic actuated ball valve specifically designed for industries with high sanitary standards such as food, pharmaceuticals, and bioengineering, mainly used for controlling the flow direction of fluids, diverting or combining the flow.
The ball of this ball valve adopts a full bore design. When the fluid passes through, the resistance is small, the flow rate is large, and it has good fluid control performance.
Main features of the full bore three way sanitary pneumatic ball valve.
- Balanced encapsulated construction minimizes cold flow.
- Live-loaded stem packing.
- Precision stainless steel balls reduce torque and friction losses while extending seat life.
- Lockable handle can prevent accidental actuation.
- Standard internal entry blow out proof stem design.
- Full port design matches ball and seat ports to tube ID for lower pressure drop and less turbulent flow.
- Compact design for areas with tight space restrictios.
- Pneumatically actuated can achieve remote control or automated operation.

The applications of the three way sanitary pneumatic ball valve.
It is mainly applied in the following fields: Dairy, Food, Beverage, Pharmacy, Cosmetic, Chemical, etc

How does a 3-way pneumatic valve work?
A 3-way pneumatic valve works by using compressed air to control the movement of its internal components. When air pressure is applied to the actuator, it causes the valve stem to move, which in turn rotates the ball or other flow-control element inside the valve. This action allows the valve to direct the flow of fluid or gas through different ports, enabling functions such as diverting the flow to different paths, combining flows from different sources, or shutting off the flow in one or more of the connected pipelines. The specific operation depends on the valve’s design and the control signals sent to the pneumatic actuator.
