Factors that Affect the Fully Welded Ball Valve During its Operation
It is well known, ball valves are widely used in fields such as chemical industry, petroleum, and metallurgy. The inner wall of the popular fully welded ball valve is extremely smooth. During the process of transporting medium, the friction between the inner wall of the ball valve and the medium is very small, and the medium can pass through unobstructed. However, the fully welded ball valve will be affected by some factors during its operation.

I. Influence of the Sealing Material
In actual working conditions, the fully welded ball valve generally uses various gases as the medium, such as natural gas, gas, coal gas, in the chemical industry, for heating supply, etc. The temperature of these media is generally between -20°C and 150°C, and the pressure is mostly 16 to 25MPa. Soft sealing can meet the requirements. However, if the quality of the soft sealing material is not good enough, it is very likely to cause medium leakage. Moreover, due to the severe wear of soft sealing caused by the flow of the medium, over time, the service life of the fully welded ball valve will be greatly reduced.
II. Influence of the Processing Technology
The quality of the valve cores of various fully welded ball valves will be determined by the processing technology. If the thickness of the wear resistant layer of the molded rubber hose is uneven, the thin area is likely to break first. Therefore, the wear resistance and acid and alkali resistance of the ball valve will become very poor, and it can only qualify for general working conditions. However, the valve core of the fully welded ball valve with high quality technology can well ensure the uniform thickness of the wear resistant layer.
III. Influence of Material Corrosion
Affected by the corrosion of the valve body, the opening and closing mechanism is damaged. Poor workmanship of the valve body leads to the driving device, pneumatic or electric actuator of the fully welded ball valve often being closed too tightly or unable to be completely closed. The rusting of the materials of the fully welded ball valve will greatly reduce the service life of the valve.
In conclusion, the main factors affecting the fully welded ball valve during its operation are the sealing material, processing technology, material corrosion, etc. Therefore, to find a high quality fully welded ball valve, users need to carefully study the manufacturing process and materials of the fulle welded ball valve and make a reference according to the actual application situation.
