1 inch Brass Ball Valve

1 inch Brass Ball Valve
Common diameters of brass ball valves include 1/4 inch, 1/2 inch, 3/4 inch and1 inch, etc.1 inch brass ball valve, means a 1” ball valve made of brass.
Brass is mainly an alloy composed of copper and zinc. Brass ball valves are widely used for cutting off, distributing, and changing the flow direction of media as water and gas. .
These valves are corrosion-resistant. They can be used in acidic and alkaline environments without being prone to rust.
Both the valve body and internal parts of brass ball valves are very sturdy and can withstand high pressure and high temperature.
They have excellent sealing performance and high reliability. They are not prone to water leakage, ensuring the safety of the pipeline system.
- Adjustable stem packing gland provides longer service life.
- Bottom loaded blowout proof stem.
- PTFE stem packing seal and seats.
- Machined chrome-plated brass ball.

1 Inch Brass Ball Valves are popular in:
- Water supply and drainage systems: they are used to control the on-off and regulation of water flow.
- Gas systems: in gas pipelines, they control the flow of gas.
- HVAC systems: in heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems, they are used to control the flow of cold and hot water as well as gas.
- Industrial pipeline systems: in various industrial pipelines, they are used to cut off, distribute, and change the flow direction of the medium.

How to Select 1″ Ball Valve
1. Consider the characteristics of the medium. Different media have different requirements for valve materials. For example, for corrosive media, valves made of corrosion-resistant materials should be selected ; for high-temperature and high-pressure media, obviously valves with high-temperature and high-pressure resistance performance should be taken into account.
2. Based on the working pressure and temperature range of the system, the valve must have the matching class and material . Excessive working pressure or temperature may lead to valve damage or sealing failure.
3. Consider the fluid flow direction and flow rate, in order to select the appropriate type and specification of valve. For example, for bidirectional flow, a ball valve with bidirectional sealing should be selected; for large-flow control, the flow capacity and opening resistance of the valve should be considered.
