Stainless Steel 6 inch Cryogenic Globe Valve for LNG LOX

Cryogenic Valves are industrial control valves suitable for media with temperatures ranging from -40℃ to -253℃.
The materials of cryogenic valve body, valve cover and other pressure parts are usually made of tough materials with good low temperature strength. When designing, three low temperature grades of -46°C, -101°C and -196°C are commonly used. -46°C low temperature grade generally uses low temperature carbon steel, -101°C and -196°C low temperature grade generally uses 300 series austenitic stainless steel, which has moderate strength, good toughness and good processing performance.
Main features of the cryogenic globe valve.
Suitable for the transport of cryogenic and ultra-cryogenic media, such as liquid nitrogen.

The applications of cryogenic globe valve.
They are mainly used in low-temperature fluid systems such as liquefied natural gas, liquid oxygen, and petrochemical tail gas separation.

What are the advantages of using a cryogenic globe valve over other types of valves?
Cryogenic globe valves offer distinct advantages in low-temperature systems. Their linear motion design provides precise flow control, critical for regulating cryogens like LNG or liquid oxygen. The tight shut-off capability, enabled by metal-to-metal or specialized seals, prevents leaks of volatile cryogenic fluids.
Constructed with cold-resistant materials and extended bonnets, they resist brittle failure and minimize heat ingress. Unlike ball valves, they avoid cavitation damage in throttling. Compared to gate valves, they offer better modulation accuracy. These features make them ideal for applications demanding reliable isolation and flow adjustment in cryogenic processes.
