The 2 inch gate valve is a common pipeline control device, mainly used for regulating and controlling the flow of fluids. Sorted by materials there are serval types of common 2 inch gate valve in the market:
- 2 inch stainless steel gate valve featuring corrosion-resistant construction with an aluminum handwheel and 316 stainless steel non-rising stem, bonnet, body, and wedge, these gate valves are ideal for refinery, chemical, and other process applications.
- 2 inch brass gate valve, designed with cast-iron wheel handles and brass discs, wedges, stems, and screw-in bonnets, these full port main shutoff valves can be used fully open or fully closed in water and compressed air applications. The non rising stems can be used in limited vertical space.
- 2 inch caron steel gate valve, cast steel valves are suitable for gas, oil, steam, water, and general service applications. The external valve stem threads prevent contamination from flow media.
- 2 inch bronze gate valve acting as a positive shutoff, these full port valves can be used fully open or fully closed in steam, water, and compressed air applications.
